Wise Women

A Restorative Women’s Health Retreat

30th April – 3rd May 2027

Long Weekend Retreat in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland

(4 day, 3 night residential)

This retreat over the May Bank Holiday, is a time to rest and restore in the wonderful surroundings of

The Yoga Barn, Co Kilkenny.

WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

It’s an all women retreat, creating a safe circle for sharing and healing.  Find your balance of Yin and Yang, with structured Qi Gong, Acupressure and Cooking classes with flowing time for fireside chats, cleansing saunas, cold plunges and mantra under the stars. We will learn how to encourage and nurture the feminine passionate energy within us.  All accommodation is shared with all rooms en suite.

The Cooking Classes, Self Shiatsu Acupressure and Qi Gong sessions can effortlessly improve all areas of female health, bringing a balance between passionate Fire and flowing Water.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Within this retreat we will address symptom such as insomnia, palpitations, loss of libido, painful heavy breasts and periods, weight gain around the middle, hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings without medication, using the food you eat, gentle exercise, breathing exercises and potent acupressure points.

At a cellular level, our bodies are constantly reproducing; new blood cells, skin cells, hair follicles, maintaining bone density, nail strength, and growth, so it is essential to keep our reproductive health, “Jing” in Chinese Medicine, flowing, vital and juicy.

Take time to develop and nurture a loving connection with your body and mind, peri, mid and post menopause.

There are only 13 spaces and these will go fast!

  • Conscious Cooking Classes focusing on recipes to improve kidney and liver function, boosting metabolism, lowering cholesterol and blood sugars
  • Amazing Vegetarian Meals cooked by our personal chef
  • Qi Gong sessions – using the breath and movement to flow energy in through the body, reducing pain, improving energy levels and bringing the body back to balance
  • Self Shiatsu sessions – learning major acupressure points in the body for everyday health & well being
  • Time to rest and restore in the stunning grounds, walk the labyrinth, cleanse in the Sauna, find a cozy corner to journal and experience the chat at the evening outdoor fire.

In a simple weekend, understand the clear connection between our emotions, the food we choose and how that directly affects our health.

This is perfect if you are feeling exhausted or burnt out, or if you need to reconnect with yourself and renew your life.
